Software Engineer

Computer Science undergraduate at NUS, shipping full-stack features end to end — from the Figma flow to the production error dashboard.

About

I'm a Computer Science undergraduate at the National University of Singapore. I currently build full-stack features for a React Native app at Snowball, and work as a Product Management Associate with NUS Developer Group.

I came to software from mechatronics and robotics — a diploma, then two years running battalion-level operations in the Singapore Armed Forces, where automating the tedious parts of the job turned into the thing I actually wanted to do. I like owning a feature the whole way: designing the flow, building the backend, shipping it, then reading the analytics to find out whether it worked.

    • Translated NPO feedback and business goals into clear product requirements, partnering directly with design and engineering to ship tangible features.
    • Managed the end-to-end development process, setting timelines and resolving blockers, and drove improvements based on user feedback.
    • Maintained strategic alignment across executives, customers, and internal teams through regular progress updates.
  2. Teaching Assistant, CS2100 Computer Organisation

National University of Singapore · Singapore

    Aug 2026 — Present

Teaching assistant for CS2100 Computer Organisation, and a Software Engineering Student Mentor.

    • Run tutorial sessions for CS2100, walking students through computer organisation topics and debugging their reasoning rather than their code.
    • Mentor students on the Software Engineering module, advising on project structure and engineering practice.
  3. Software Engineer (Intern)

    Snowball · Singapore

    May 2026 — Present

Full-stack feature work on a production React Native mobile app, spanning design, implementation, analytics, and error triage.

    • Designed and shipped features to production including phone verification, comment likes, multi-photo logs, a Strava API integration, an AI-powered activity classifier, and a collaborative customisation canvas.
    • Led a full UI/UX overhaul of the app, redesigning key flows in Figma and implementing them end to end.
    • Analysed PostHog product analytics to identify behaviour trends, informing feature prioritisation and roadmap decisions.
    • Monitored and triaged production errors in Sentry, diagnosing and resolving bugs to improve stability.
