Mingle

A full-stack prototype exploring a behavioural problem rather than a technical one: people commit to dates and then quietly drop them. Mingle puts a small financial stake behind a match using XRPL blockchain smart escrows, released when both parties actually show up — so the guarantee is held by a distributed ledger rather than by our own server, and the app’s job is to talk to that network correctly rather than to be trusted itself. Placed 2nd runner-up at the NUS Fintech Summit 2026.
